I can understand "Bleeding Cowboys" but for the rest of them graphics designers should keep to their studios and stay the hell away from our web pages. Oh yeah, and stop ruining html as well. I mean look at this G+ interface, It uses barely a third of the screen width. Designer approved, Sheesh!
Stephen Gunnell Try the Ctrl-Scrollwheel button it should shift to 3-column mode. Facebook is THE huge waster of space. I just stuck a ruler up: it defaults on my screen to 6" of usefulness - the balance of the 19" which 13" is just useless junk.
You can do a CTRL+Wheel? I usually have the page zoom up to 120% to see the tiny fonts. Facebook is much worse, with tiny tiny fonts and they even use grey ones - bleaugh.
I liked Microsoft chat. The comic chat typeface came up in cute little balloons above heads. Eventually moved to mIRC, and i missed the balloons.
