Deadline for Win10 is July 29 I think. I know I have to break down and get the Win7 laptop done - that will take the longest to backup and is the slowest since it is the oldest still functional.
Laura - I think you said your machines are dual boot - you need to back up anything on the linux side as the Win 10 install will certainly destroy the dual boot.
Mostly I've used Mint as a "backup OS" to fix Win problems. There's nothing that I'd backup under Linux that wouldn't be quicker to do a fresh install of.

ReplyDeleteI found that my PCS are all "Genuine Windows" so it's a matter of doing that as well.

I'm not the Windows guru but he first place I would look is C:\Users\YourName but Windows itself should handle all that.
