Darktable is an open source photography workflow application and raw developer. A virtual lighttable and darkroom for photographers. It manages your digital negatives in a database, lets you view them through a zoomable lighttable and enables you to develop raw images and enhance them.
Seems a good idea, though could you get a more derivative program name? Not-for-windoze.

I'm giving Fotoxx a try as I am finding Shotwell unusable. I've been struggling with it for 3 years now and find myself not managing my photos at all ... give me back F-Spot or Picasa both of which just worked.
