I got those wall clips up for the LAN cables today. I used a mixture of screwed-in U clips (on the wood) and sticky pop-out clips on the plaster. This removes the last artifact of Kevin, who was a boarder her until early 2011. He'd carefully mounted a LAN cable into the corners of the wall and ceiling into the Study. Looked nice but really the plugs and cable havd been damaged in the process.
It still looks a bit ad hoc seeing blue LAN cables winding around the walls above door height, but that's convenient when I have to replace them. Each 30m cable has about 5m spare, but with that I can place PCs anywhere in the room, and 20m was just too short. So it goes.
You can consider google searching "panduit plastic flexible" ... these generally are slotted so they can be put in after the fact.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I might next time. It was more fun to search Bunnings this time around.
