So far the only issue the RecRoom PC has is no sound.

So far the only issue the RecRoom PC has is no sound. But that's happened every time I've installed any version of Windows on it (XP and Win7). This time around it can't detect the speakers which are plugged in which is a new one for me. I suspect that its mistaken the speaker for a microphone, which is listed but not plugged in.

Meh, no rush. I might start backing up the Studio PC next.

    Could it be that the sockets were wrongly wired?

    Stephen Gunnell Unlikely, because seconds before I rebooted the PC to install Win10 yesterday, I was listening to music via an app under Win7.
