I'm surprised they aren't already!

I'm surprised they aren't already! I think the biggest issue will be liability for accidents between either two driverless cars, or a driverless car and a human driven one. They will happen.

  1. Most US States have no fault insurance. Each insurance pays for their car. But the second one needs new laws. The owner of the car becomes responsible, then they get to sue the maker. That's assuming you can can get proof it was the cars fault. Eventually there will be something like UL, where you cannot sue over a bad design.

  2. I foresee class actions if they're not careful.
