I was trying to link to a Doctor Who image (see http://asset-d.soupcdn.com/asset/3247/6306_d652_500.jpeg) and I got THIS message instead! Geez, never seen one of these before, and hope not to see another either!

    That's a widely used Content Delivery Network. Probably over zealous filter at your ISP.
