I agree, however, after the 24th the new google+ will be FUCKING mandatory, and many conveniences I now enjoy will require more keystrokes and decisions :(

    How the beep can they say it emphasizes photos when photo viewing has been dumbed down and I can't understand their claim to 'minimizing white space' either. The layout is just one vast swate of space wasting layout. What are they on?

    Ctrl scroll wheel gives about 20% zoom max. Nowhere near enough if you are trying to identify that wildlife in the background and not even enough to compensate for screen size. And what help is adding a theme? Does it actually change the layout? Add extra functionality? Correct the messed up new post editor?

    Roughly speaking it appears to scroll between 'fit to page' and 'fit width'. :(

    Perhaps there is a setting wrong, such as "Restrict stream to single column layout on all screen size"

    Looks like this at 100% (normal size). Fits nicely. Especially compared to Facebook.

    That works better ... I think it got turned off at some point because there was a bug where things were getting out of order on multi column displays.
    Do you have any more fixes please?
