One of the reasons I've deferred learning Blender properly, is the bloody interface.

One of the reasons I've deferred learning Blender properly, is the bloody interface. I have bifocals and my vision is not good at the best of times. Looking at the Default Blender theme, it's all small text on colours that blend too easily (see the mostly grey screenshot below) and that's a real pain to use, when I can barely read the headings let alone the buttons and values!

When I inquired about higher contrast themes in the community a while back, I was told GO DO IT IT YOURSELF without actually telling me how. So I left Blender alone after that, it such was an example of help. Now I've started playing around with themes It's a work in progress but I made the text LARGER and have more of a contrast (see the screenshot with the purplish 3D background colour). It's a start!
