Take three - I discovered this morning that the power cable on the dodge drive was disconnected! Not sure how or when that happened, but it must have been after I started the backups yesterday. But how? Then again, I still have two cats here, so maybe the issue was "when" while I have the cover off! :P
The drive still has S.M.A.R.T. issues though, so backup and replacement is still needed.
I blame the cats one cat took five of my keys from the lappy .. I picked it up to get it off the PC and it took what keys it could with it ..
