The workaround was to boot to Mint and backup the files in that. My one regret was an inability to install Krusader first to do that. Two panel file manager with lots of tweaks, would have been easier to follow than (also sometimes dual panel) silly Dolphin!

Not that I'm bagging Dolphin really. It just lacks a few options, and the progress of Copy gets hidden in general notifications.

ReplyDeleteIt's probably just a cable. I found one of my drives disconnected because the power cable was loose.
