ViperCard – HyperCard in the Browser
A reimplementation of HyperCard, the "cassette recorder for data" for the classic Macintosh, to be run in any browser (that is, ironically, not in Apple Safari):

"ViperCard is an open source re-creation and re-imagination of 1987's HyperCard. You can use it to make animations, games, and interactive art!"

(Notably, most of the early hypertext prices were awarded to HyperCard projects, before there was HTML and the WWW. So reconciling both may be a logical step.)
