So, this morning, I should probably go through my apps on the Media PC and backup settings, where the app allows me to backup and restore them. Apps like Firefox (which I use much less now, but still good for watching catchup TV) and Thunderbird already have their default profiles moved to a separate partition. Apps like Firestorm and Scrivener, not so much. And I have a heap of games software on the G: drive, not on the Windows System drive at all. That could be interesting!

Either way, I ought to look at this as an opportunity to have a clean install and to reduce the "clutter" of apps I installed and probably used once and never again. Maybe. Continuity depends on the ability to retain passwords, links, short cuts and files where I need to, and I can do that by copying where necessary. But it's a job that needs a methodical approach, something that I used to be good at when I used to be employed.

The Media PC says it has updates for me, but I might just wait until 10's on it!
