"Processing is a flexible software sketchbook and a language for learning how to code within the context of the visual arts. Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology. There are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning and prototyping."

I've never heard of PROCESSING before.  I came across it because I wanted to run a Sculpty utility called SculptyPainr93 (see https://elout.home.xs4all.nl/sculptpaint/index.html), and it won't run under the latest version of Java any more. And yes, the instructions at https://elout.home.xs4all.nl/sculptpaint/sculptypaint_processing.txt actually work!

  1. I've used Processing to make rotating GIfs from SL sculpts. Processing is relatively easy to use for imagery. If you want my sculpty code to play with, let me know, and I'll post it somewhere.
