I was not feeling particular well this morning, but this afternoon I installed Leveller 4.1 and have been having a play with it. The controls are very easy to follow and fun to use. And the documentation - there's pages of it in HTML format! I feel I made the right choice buying this.
The screen below shows a quick play, after first using a gforge filter on the whole map, then selecting an area (at least six ways to select things) and using a mound filter, followed by various "painting" tools, like blur, finger paint, and rubber stamp. My experience with Photoshop and other graphics editors is a big plus with this, and probably why I'm enjoying it so far.
I think I'm going to need to double my memory of the PC it's installed on, however.
